The summary of the inventory of the Enzo Frateili Fund (1958-1993) stored in the Archives of the Modern in Mendrisio.

Author Biographies

Valeria Farinati, Università della Svizzera Italiana di Mendrisio

She graduated in 1982 and PhD in 1989 at the Iuav University of Venice, where she carried out teaching and research activities until 1999. From 1999 to 2012 she collaborated as a researcher at the Archivio del Moderno in Mendrisio. She edited, with Georges Teyssot, a critical edition of Quatremère de Quincy's Historical Dictionary of Architecture (Venice 1985; II ed. 1991) and collaborated on the Dictionary of Art (New York-London 1996), with various biographical entries of Italian and Venetian architects and theorists of the 18th and 19th centuries. For the Archivio del Moderno, she co-directed, among others, the research Vittoriano Viganò architect, the results of which were published in the volume L’Istituto Marchiondi Spagliardi di Vittoriano Viganò (2009).

Renzo Iacobucci, Università della Svizzera Italiana di Mendrisio

He is an archivist researcher at the Archives of the Modern of the University of Italian Switzerland in Mendrisio. PhD in Greek and Latino Paleography (2008-2011) at the “Sapienza” University of Rome, from the academic year 2012-2013 is a contract lecturer in Codicology at the School of Specialization in Archival and Library Goods at the Department of Documentary, Linguistic-philological and Geographic Science of the same University.
