Abstract

Through the rereading of three articles published in three different decades we investigate the critical work that Frateili conducted throughout his career: I fratelli Castiglioni, ovvero del design anticonformista (Marcatrè, 1965), A Kassel l’utopia ha quattro ruote, ma non è un’automobile (Modo, 1978) e Ridisegnare il filo della storia (Area, 1991).

Author Biography

Chiara Fauda Pichet, Politecnico di Milano

PhD candidate in Design at Politecnico di Milano with a research topic on the influence of scenography on exhibition design. She is a tutor at Politecnico di Milano and NABA. She undertook research at Triennale di Milano, contributing to museum research for W. Women in Italian Design, ninth edition of the Triennale Design Museum. She is interested in the history of design and interior, she is studying design and its relationship to contemporary art.
