Emilio Ambasz

Emilio Ambasz è architetto e designer. Dal 1969 al 1976 è stato Curator of Design al Museum of Modern Art, New York, dove ha curato, tra l’altro, la mostra Italy the new domestic Landscape. Ha insegnato presso la Princeton University’s School of Architecture e alla Hochschule für Gestaltung di Ulm. Precursore dell’architettura green, ha ricevuto per la sua ricerca progettuale e critica numerosi riconoscimenti internazionali. Ha pubblicato numerosi libri, tra cui Natural Architecture, Artificial Design (Electa 2001). È autore di molti progetti di prodotto, tra cui la pluripremiata seduta per ufficio Vertebra (con G. Piretti, 1978), che ottiene nel 1981 il Compasso d’Oro.
