Author Biography

Dario Russo, Università degli Studi di Palermo

Architect and PhD, Dario Russo is a researcher at the Architecture Department of the University of Palermo, where he teaches Theory and history of industrial design; in addition, he teaches History of Graphics at NABA and the Academy of Communication in Milan. Among his publications, Il design dei nostri tempi (2012), Grafica multimodale (2010), Suite d’autore (2008), Free Graphics (2006), Corporate Image (with Vanni Pasca, 2005). He has participated in international conferences such as Para Uma Bienal (Instituto Politécnico di Viana do Castelo 2010), Graphics beyond Rules in the Digital Age (Central Connecticut State University 2007) and Avant-Gardes and Cultures: Art, Design, Cutural Environment (Bielorusian State University 2007). He is the art director of the Italian Aesthetic Society, of the Author's Suite and of AZ-Project Graphic Design.
