Author Biography

Teresita Scalco, Università Iuav di Venezia

PhD in Design at the Iuav University of Venice, with a thesis entitled Integrating design and museum studies. Learning from Istanbul, speakers Raimonda Riccini and Maddalena Dalla Mura. She has been a visiting researcher at the SALT cultural institution in Istanbul and Bilgi Istanbul University. He has participated in several conferences at national and international level on issues of intersection between art, design and architecture, in the context of museums and archives. Member of AAA-Italy and ICOM, since 2002 he has worked in the Projects Archive of the Iuav University. She was co-curator of the Istanbul City Portrait international conference (2012) and of the homonymous guide, published by Compositori Editore (2014) of the series of conferences dedicated to Ritratti di Città, promoted by the Doctoral School of the Iuav University of Venice. She is currently co-author of the documentary Tobia Scarpa. L’anima segreta delle cose, produced by Studio Liz.
